Eric Buckner has left his role as president at Florida-based Sysco supplier North Star Seafood to serve as an executive consultant for Alabama-based distributor Ren Seafoods.
Located in the heart of south Florida and established in 1992, North Star Seafood is among the largest wholesale distributors of fresh and frozen seafood in the state, according to Sysco.
Prior to his role with North Star Seafood, Buckner served as a senior director in the seafood category for Sysco.
In March, Ren Seafoods announced plans to build a seafood processing facility and distribution hub in Mobile, Alabama.
