After 35 years, Richard Stavis is leaving Boston-based supplier Stavis Seafoods.

Richard Stavis joined the then family-owned company full-time in 1985, working his way up to become CEO in 1996, then transitioning into the role of chief sustainability office (CSO) in 2018, when the Stavis family sold its controlling stake to Spain's Profand Group.

"Under my tenure the company grew from $40 million (€34 million) to over $200 million (€170 million), expanding scope and scale," said Richard Stavis in an announcement on LinkedIn.
