Huw Thomas, the former fisheries and aquaculture manager at UK retailer Morrisons, is launching his own consultancy business in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Most recently, Thomas joined UK-based Offshore Shellfish as a general manager in August 2018, and before that spent two years working to end illegal fishing with the Pew Charitable Trusts.
Prior to that Thomas was fisheries and aquaculture manager with UK supermarket chain Morrisons from 2012 to 2016 and has also had various roles in companies such as King and Prince Seafood, Lyons Seafoods, Amanda Foods, Cumbrian Seafoods, and Maritime Foods over his extensive career in seafood.
