The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) has appointed Lorraine Gallagher as market development manager for Ireland and the UK.
Gallagher was previously at Aldi Ireland’s corporate fresh fish and seafood buying division.
Earlier this year, ASC appointed Willem de Bruijn as its senior director of markets and communications. That appointment followed a 2020 strategy review after which the ASC committed "to strengthen the ASC as a marketing organization."
ASC officially launched its new feed standard in June, which it says is designed to better tackle unsustainable practices across the aquaculture feed supply chain.
