Erik Markussen, business development manager at Norwegian seafood company Nordic Seaco and former purchasing director at Findus, passed away on Nov. 13 at the age of 58.
In a statement, Nordic Seaco said Markussen passed away "after several months of major health challenges."
Markussen started as a purchaser at Frionor in 1985, then later worked for many years in the Nomad system, among other things as purchasing director at Findus Norge, before joining Nordic Seaco in 2020.
"Erik had a unique ability to see everyone. He had no enemies and has left a solid impression on many in our industry, both at home and abroad," said the statement.
"Erik will be sorely missed here at Nordic Seaco, both as a friend and colleague."
