Jim Parsons has taken over as CEO at Washington State-based Jamestown Seafood, a collaborative venture with the Sequim, Washington-based Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe. The company harvests oysters and geoduck and produces oyster seed for commercial sale.

Parsons previously was general manager of Seattle-based Cooke Inc. subsidiary Cooke Aquaculture Pacific.

His other former roles in seafood include serving as the aquaculture operations manager for the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, where he organized production operations and developed new technologies for a shellfish nursery.

He also worked for nearly 20 years prior to that as the executive vice president for Seattle-based Troutlodge, the world's largest rainbow trout egg producer.
