Krill harvesting and processing giant Aker BioMarine appointed former BioMar veterinarian Marianne Nergard as veterinarian and key account manager for its Qrill Aqua products.
Prior to joining Aker BioMarine, Nergard spent five years at feed giant BioMar working on product development and technical support for the health feed range. Nergard also researched the effects of high krill diets on fish during her time at BioMar.
“I am passionate about increasing fish health and welfare, and also in showing how healthier fish are part of making the aquaculture business more sustainable,” Nergard said.
