Frozen food giant Nomad Foods named Renato Roca general manager of Findus Switzerland, which the company acquired late last year.
Roca has been with the company since 2010, with southern Europe marketing director as the most recent position.
Prior to Nomad Foods, Roca was frozen food marketing director at Unilever, British consumer goods giant.
Nomad Foods has been on an acquisition spree in recent months, completing its acquisition of Findus Switzerland last week.
The acquisition expands Nomad Foods’ geographic reach into Switzerland, a new and sizable market, providing a natural extension for its Findus product offering and brand.
The company is also currently in exclusive negotiations to acquire Fortenova Group’s Frozen Food Business Group (FFBG), which includes Ledo, Frikom and other leading frozen brands.
