Alf-Helge Aarskog, the former CEO of Mowi, will resign from the board of salmon farming giant Mowi at the company's next annual general meeting on June 9, the company announced Thursday.

Aarskog has held the deputy chair position since May 2020, serving alongside Chairman and former CEO Ole‐ Eirik Leroy, Cecilie Fredriksen, Kristian Melhuus, Lisbet Naero, Bjarne Tellmann, and Solveig Stand.

The nomination committee for the group proposed Leroy, Melhuus and Naero be re-elected as board members for a term of two years, with Leroy retaining his chair position and Melhuus taking over as deputy chair.
