Corbion Executive Vice President for Innovation Platforms Marc den Hartog is leaving the alternative-feed ingredients company after nine years, he announced on LinkedIn.
"I am moving on and will be looking for an exciting role with impact in the world of ingredients, food, biotechnology and renewable materials," he wrote in the social media post.
He served as the company's COO from 2014 to 2017, when he was promoted to executive vice president for Innovation Platforms.
Last November, Corbion announced a new partnership with Nestle, launching into the first stage of research into the development of microalgae-based ingredients for plant-based food products.
"With a superior micro-algae ingredients platform to create omega-3 oils and food protein as well as a world leading play with Total Corbion PLA in biobased and biodegradable plastics it has great future growth opportunities ahead!" den Hartog wrote on LinkedIn.
