Loreto Seguel has been named executive director of the Chile Salmon Council, which represents around 52 percent of Chilean salmon production.
She will step into the role vacated by Joanna Davidovich on Dec. 1.
Seguel is a civil engineer with a Masters in engineering sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and more than 20 years of work experience, both in the public and private sector.
