Gorton's former Director of Brand Development Gavin Kennedy has left the Nippon Suisan Kaisha (Nissui) owned frozen fish giant for E-Cloth, which produces microfiber cleaning supplies in Massachusetts.

Kennedy, who worked for Gorton's for just over 10 years, joined the cleaning supplies manufacturer as its chief marketing officer in February, according to his LinkedIn.

Kennedy previously served as a marketing manager at Pepperidge Farm and as an associate brand manager for Dunkin Brands.

Gorton's saw fish stick consumption soar during the pandemic, in part because of a revamp of the company's marketing strategy, but largely thanks to COVID-19 boosting frozen pollock and other frozen seafood sales globally.
