Amy Humphreys has been the CEO of Bristol Bay Seafood Investments (BBSI) for a little more than a day, so she can be forgiven for not knowing exactly how she will scale the nascent Pacific cod powerhouse that was born in September when the Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) acquired Blue North Fisheries and Clipper Seafoods and organized the two companies under the banner of Bristol Bay Alaska Seafoods.

“But I can say, it will scale,” she told IntraFish on Tuesday in her first interview as CEO of BBSI.
