Kristin Veriga, the short-lived CEO of now bankrupt seafood trading platform seafoodportal.com and former Grobest and Regal Springs executive, has been appointed senior vice president for global shrimp at Indonesian tech startup eFishery.
The executive joined the doomed Norwegian startup seafoodportal.com in March, but earlier this month its parent company JET Seafood filed for bankruptcy.
Based out of Singapore, Veriga has more than 25 years’ experience in commercial, e-commerce and seafood roles.
Before his role at seafoodportal.com, he was group chief marketing officer with Grobest Group in Singapore, and has held executive roles at Regal Springs, Reckitt, Nomad Foods and Mars across Europe, the United States, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.
