Bryton Shang, entrepreneur and founder of aquaculture software company Aquabyte, isn't short on ambition.

"We want to combine the best of two worlds -- Silicon Valley and aquaculture. Our products will change how fish is produced," the 30-year-old entrepreneur told IntraFish.

Founded in 2017, Aquabyte provides various services for salmon farmers from Norway to Chile, all based around camera technology immersed in cages that films the fish and analyzes the footage.

But it is a long way between Norway's salmon cages and Chang's home in San Francisco, where Aquabyte started out.
