Maine-based Bristol Seafood has appointed Rick Espindola as vice president of procurement.

Espindola joins the company from Superior Seafood Solutions, where he was managing director for nearly three years.

The executive was previously vice president of sales and purchasing at Pescanova USA.

From 2014 to 2016 Espindola was director of purchasing at National Fish & Seafood, following nine years at Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions.
