Prior to joining SalmoBreed Salten, Skaugvold was operations manager at the hatchery producer Nordland Akva.

The new general manager -- who will takeover in August -- will develop broodstock production further in Sorfold, Norway.

The new facility in Sorfold has been operational for just over a year now. The land-based site has the capacity to produce 150 million eggs annually.
