Bakkafrost names new managing director for Scottish Salmon Company
The new MD will take up his position in March.
Bakkafrost-owned The Scottish Salmon Company (SSC) has named Ian Laister as its new managing director, effective March 1.
He will take over from Odd Eliasen, who has headed up SSC since Bakkafrost's takeover in late 2019.
Laister joined SSC more than 18 months ago to support the transition and integration process. He also acted as a deputy to Eliasen during the first transition period post-acquisition.
Eliasen is also managing director of Bakkafrost's feed subsidiary Havsbrun.
