Aquaculture investment firm Hatch hired the former founder and director of Norway's Seafood Innovation Cluster (NCE) Tanja Hoel as its new innovation manager.

This comes as Hatch focuses on expanding its service towards the corporate world and governments within the global aquaculture industry.

Hoel previously held many different position within the seafood industry, primarily working on digitization, entrepreneurship programs and different aquaculture species.

“We want to focus on tying closer bonds with the aquaculture industry. Given the importance of the salmon industry, we believe Tanja has the right expertise and network to facilitate Hatch‘s global industry connections,” Hatch Managing Partner and Co-founder Georg Baunach said.
