Raul Squadritto has left his post as AquaChile's regional sales director in the company's Miami office.

Squadritto joined AquaChile's parent company Agrosuper in 2018 as manager of its salmon business division.

The company said it plans to announce his replacement in the coming days.

"Undoubtedly, the dynamism of AquaChile's operation in the United States bears Raul's stamp," the company said.

The executive's departure comes as demand for farmed salmon in the US market has cooled as consumers push back against rising prices during a period of widespread inflation.
