Jose Guzman Vial, CEO of AquaChile owner Agrosuper, has stepped down from his role as managing director of the group following an extraordinary general meeting, and will join the company's board of directors.

Guzman Vial will assume the role of vice president of the board of directors, while Gonzalo Vial Vial will hold the president position.

The pair are joined on the board by Maria Pilar Vial Concha, Maria Jose Vial Concha, Veronica Edwards Guzman, Andres Vial Sanchez, Fernando Barros Tocornal, Canio Corbio Lioi, Antonio Tuset Jorratt and Juan Claro Gonzalez.

Luis Felipe Fuenzalida has been appointed corporate affairs director.

Agrosuper announced it would buy AquaChile in August 2018. The company now accounts for an estimated 50 percent of Chile's farmed salmon exports.
