After spending most of his career with UK's frozen seafood giant Young's Seafood, Fraserburgh Site Director Darren Beecham has hopped to New England Seafood, a neighboring company in Grimsby.
Beecham started with Young's as a supply chain manager in 2002 prior to moving to the position of manufacturing director and finally site director in 2014.
He will now serve as the site director for New England Seafood.
In 2018, New England Seafood invested £800,000 (€867,000/$969,000) in its Grimsby facility, which it added to its assets with the acquisition of Grimsby-based processor Albert Darnell Group in 2016.
Ever since UK pork processor Karro Food Group acquired Young's in July, the seafood giant has been shuffling its top management positions.
The changes include taking in Seachill executive Simon Smith as the company's new CEO, as well hiring former McCain Finance Director Saeeda Amin as CFO.
