It’s been almost exactly one year to the day since Findus Group, the private equity owner of Young’s Seafood Limited, took over Cumbrian Seafoods.
It's not a date Young's is likely to forget. To call the acquisition and integration a challenge would be an understatement.
Less than a couple of months after the takeover, Young's transferred the plant's fish cake production to an existing site in Grimsby, following the discovery of "serious product quality issues."
