Young’s is set to launch microwaveable fish and chips in the supermarket on April 11 as part of its Micro range.
“This new product builds on the original idea, using the same pollock fish fingers as the version without chips. They’re available nationally in Asda and we hope to confirm other retail listings shortly,” Charlotte Broughton, the company’s marketing controller, told IntraFish.
The new product offers the same sog-resistant crumb coating as the company’s Micro Fish Fingers and can be microwaved in three minutes.
