Yihe launched a new retail line of products at this year's Seafood Expo North American in Boston -- and a company executive said the industry should expect even more innovation in the coming year.

The line, Frontier Harvest Alaskan Jack's retail line of salmon products, has been performing "beyond expectations," Mike Klein, vice president of sales at Yihe, told IntraFish.

"We are achieving the original objective to drive additional, repeat purchase with our retail consumers in the value-added seafood sub-segment," he said.

Klein
