In June, IntraFish reported that Terje Korsnes and Nordic Group received U.S. authorities’ approval to reopen the U.S. market for fresh, round, Norwegian salmon. In 1991 a punitive duty was imposed on Norway for dumping and despite all attempts from industry organizations and Norwegian authorities, the punitive is still in force – albeit with some exceptions.
