Vietnamese pangasius exports to Southeast Asia climbed 15 percent during the first five months of the year compared to the same time last year, reports Vietnam News.

The total value of exports was $87.3 million (€77.6 million), according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).

Thailand took the largest amount of Vietnamese pangasius, with imports rising 9.2 percent year-on-year to $32.5 million (€28.9 million).

The Philippines also imported $19 million (€16.9 million) worth of Vietnamese pangasius, a 25 percent surge compared to the same time last year.
