Veteran purchasing director out at MW Brands

Thai Union Frozen Products-owned MW Brands is looking for a new purchasing director, after the exit of Philippe Gourel de Saint Pern, its long-time purchasing and fleet director.

According to an internal email from MW Brands on March 8, seen by IntraFish, de Saint Pern left in a mutual agreement after 12 years with the company.

Adolfo Valsecchi, the CEO of MW Brands, is now handling the purchasing while a replacement is sought, a source told IntraFish.

The source said a conflict between Valsecchi and de Saint Pern is the reason behind his exit, he said.
