Tech company Valka has hired Sigridur Olgeirsdottir as director for the company's global service division.
Olgeirsdottir is moving from the position of COO for the Bank of Iceland, where she was responsible for IT and Operations for the past nine years. She has served in directorial positions in Iceland and abroad.
Previously, Olgeirsdottir worked as the CEO of Ax Business Intelligence, Humac, and Taeknival.
Valka's growth has been rapidly developing, said CEO Helgi Hjalmarsson, and Olgeirsdottir's hire is in line with that growth as the company continues to service diverse operations around the world.
