Equipment and inventory from Florida-based salmon supplier South Pacific Specialties is being liquidated, with the auctioneer touting some 650,000 pounds of seafood to potential buyers.
Auction group Great American sent out an inventory list Wednesday made up overwhelmingly of smoked Atlantic salmon fillets and frozen vacuum-packed salmon portions, but also including flakes, pieces and other forms. Some sockeye salmon is also on the inventory list.
More than 150,000 pounds of the smoked salmon product is packaged under the Dawson Bay brand, which formerly sold at Costco stores.
