A US member of Congress has written to the commissioner of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) alleging Vietnam shrimp giant Minh Phu is "possibly evading duties" and otherwise competing unfairly against US seafood companies by importing Indian shrimp into the United States under the guise of Vietnamese product.
The letter, sent May 17 and seen by IntraFish, follows an e-allegation filed with the CBP on May 12.
