The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has released a report showing shrimp worth $2.7 billion (€2.4 billion) was imported in fiscal year 2017 that was subject to antidumping orders. The CBP said $61.5 million (€54 million) in cash deposits were made on these imports.

There was an additional tariff of 2.3 percent on shrimp imports during that year, with shrimp accounting for 23.5 percent of all import value subject to antidumping orders in fiscal year 2017, according to the Southern Shrimp Alliance (SSA).
