Thailand has exported 106.10 million pounds of shrimp to the United States for the year to May, a figure down 21.9 percent year-on-year.
Shrimp sales from Ecuador to the United States are up 27.3 percent to 78.36 million pounds and sales from India are up 35 percent to 35.04 million pounds.
For May, Ecuador closed in on Thailand, exporting 18.35 million pounds compared to Thailand’s 20.04 million pounds.
