Larsen Mettler is leaving his post at KeyBanc Capital Markets to join Alaska-based seafood supplier Silver Bay Seafoods.
Mettler joined KeyBanc 12 years ago. He has spent the last 10 years specializing in investment banking related to the seafood sector and has been involved in deals with an estimated transactional value of $3 billion (€2.7 billion).
KeyBanc has been involved in transactions involving seafood giants such as American Seafoods, Trident Seafoods, Starkist, Icicle Seafoods, High Liner Foods and Glacier Fish Company.
He will start in his new role at Silver Bay on Monday, Silver Bay CEO Richard Riggs told IntraFish Thursday afternoon.
