An unused plant in the UK seafood hub of Grimsby is to be used for fresh fish processing, in a move that involves a Grimsby-based, Icelandic-backed company and the founder of Sealord in the United Kingdom.
Ken Bottomley, a seafood sector veteran who ran the Sealord UK plant for many years, is linking up with Grimsby-based Atlantic Fresh on a processing plant venture, sources told IntraFish.
Bottomley and Orn Jonsson, managing director of Atlantic Fresh, are both directors of Sealincs, a company registered on the UK company register on Feb.
