UK-based scampi producer Whitby Seafood appointed Daniel Whittle as its new managing director. Whittle was formerly the managing director for the company's Northern Irish business Kilkeel.
Founder Graham Whittle will remain chairman of the company's board of directors. Daniel Whittle brings seven years of experience as he begins his new role this month.
In his new role, Whittle will be responsible for managing Whitby Seafoods Ltd, Kilkell Seafoods Ltd and Galloway Seafoods Ltd.
“The best career decision I ever made was to employ my children," said Graham Whittle.
