The Telford-based company, which reported turnover of £70 million (€80.5 million/$108.9 million) for 2010, has opened a new depot in Leeds to increase its coverage of the United Kingdom.

The company -- which specializes in direct imports of seafood, meat and dry goods for sale to Asian restaurants and to other wholesalers and processors -- is adding this depot to its existing operations in Telford, Newcastle and Rainham in London.

Although the depot in Newcastle gives the company some coverage of the north of the United Kingdom, Bill Mooney, managing director and founder, said Leeds gives it coverage of new regions.
