Turkish producer Sagun Group is looking back at a "big year of investments," which will see the company expand its processing and packaging plants to a total of 11 facilities.

The company invested more than €10 million ($11 million) in various projects over the last year, Ogulcan Kemal Sagun, member of the board at the group, told IntraFish.

Within two to three months, it will complete the construction of its 10th facility -- a packaging plant in Urla -- and in early 2016, the joint venture fish feed factory with BioMar in Izmir, with a capacity of 50,000 metric tons in the first phase, will go online.
