Tropical Aquaculture – which performs sales, marketing and distribution for a group of tilapia producers from Ecuador and Columbia – is selling 400,000 to 500,000 pounds per week to the U.S. market, and that number has grown significantly from just three years ago, when it sold an average of 300,000 to 400,000 pounds per week to the United States, President John Schramm told IntraFish.
