Jan Trollvik, director at the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC), the marketing arm for Norwegian seafood, left his post as of Oct. 1.
He started with the council in 1990, before it was even created in 1991 -- and has been employed on a consultancy basis ever since, on loan from Trollvik AS, as director and senior advisor over extended periods of time.
Between 1991 and 2005 he was the director of statistics and analysis at the council, after which he was officially named project director.
