The 19th Annual Alaska Symphony of Seafood results are in, with the Seattle People’s Choice Award going to Tracy’s King Crab Shack for its wild Alaska king crab bisque.

The small, 7-year-old business hailing from Juneau, Alaska, went up against a high profile slate of contestants, including American Pride, Ocean Beauty Seafoods and last year's winner, Trident Seafoods.

It was a close race, with the Bruce Gore troll-caught ivory king sashimi from Triad Fisheries coming in second by two votes.

The Alaska Fisheries Development Foundation and the Northwest Fisheries Association hosted the contest, which was judged based upon a vote of the attendees at Thursday night's Symphony of Seafood event, where all 19 products were available for sampling.
