Several senior executives have recently left European frozen giant Findus Group and its private equity owner Lion Capital, sources told IntraFish.
David Manson is understood to have left his role as chief operating officer for the group, while Ken Smialek, who was a Lion Capital executive working on the Findus business, has also left, a source close to the company confirmed to IntraFish.
Manson’s role does not exist now in the company, the source told IntraFish.
“Ken [Smialek] left as he was brought onboard to help with Findus and the cost initiative there is nearly complete,” a source close to Findus owner Lion, where Smialek was an operating partner, told IntraFish.
