The managing director and deputy managing director of troubled and for sale processor Cumbrian Seafoods have both recently left the business, IntraFish can reveal.

Cumbrian’s managing director Howard Sims, formerly MD of smoked salmon processor Pinney’s of Scotland, and its deputy MD, Frank Green, are both out of the business, sources told IntraFish.

Sims had reportedly been brought in by company founder Peter Vassallo to prepare the business for sale, while Green was a longstanding company executive.
