Surapon Foods, an export driven Bangkok-based frozen seafood processor, sees its future growth potential coming from Asia.
The company, which will exhibit at the start of November at the China Seafood and Fisheries Expo in Qingdao, sees it future sales drivers as being countries such as China and also Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Thailand is also growing as a market for frozen seafood products, Authaphon Ratana-Arporn, its business development manager, told IntraFish.
However, it is the prospect of a free trade agreement in 2015 across the ASEAN group of nations -- which includes Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Brunei -- which has Ratana-Arporn really excited.
