Twenty-three startups joined Thai Union's food-tech incubator and accelerator program at Space-F, an initiative the tuna giant headed with the National Innovation Agency (NIA) and Mahidol University's Faculty of Science.

Space-F is a collaborative approach towards developing food-tech startups. The program had 142 applications, and the selected 23 come from Germany, India, Norway, Singapore, Thailand and the United States.

Twelve will join the incubator program, while 11 join the accelerator program.

Thai Union also recently created a venture fund with an initial commitment of $30 million (€27 million).
