Cod sales in the United Kingdom continued to grow in the year up to Oct. 10, both in value and volumes, according to the latest data released by market research company Nielsen.
UK retailers sold more than £359 million (€511.3 million/$542.4 million) worth of cod, growing from £354 million (€504.1 million/$534.8 million) a year earlier, an increase of 1.4 percent.
In terms of volumes, cod sales went up by 2.5 percent in a year, jumping from 43,241 metric tons as of Oct.
