US retail giant Target filed an antitrust lawsuit against US tuna companies Bumble Bee Foods, StarKist and Chicken of the Sea and their Asian parent companies Thai Union Group, Dongwon Industries and Tri-Union Seafoods, following the alleged conspiracy among defendants to fix the price of packaged seafood products, including specifically shelf-stable tuna.

Target is claiming it was overcharged by the defendants and, according to court documents, is seeking overcharge damages, as well as treble damages and "other appropriate relief."
