Taiwan's industry is prepping for its first international fisheries and seafood show, set to take place from Nov. 19-21, 2015, at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center (KEC) in southern Taiwan.
The three-day event will be boasting more than 200 exhibitors, six national pavilions including from Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the United States and Peru. More than 12,000 international and domestic trade visitors are expected to attend the show, co-organizers Taiwan External Trade Development Council (Taitra) and My Exhibition said.
The expo was "requested and expected from the industry," and is long overdue, Donald Lu, executive director at Taitra, said during a meeting with IntraFish in Kaohsiung last week.
