“Basically I would leave on a Sunday afternoon, get down to New Orleans and pick up products: red beans, oysters and red snapper – a bunch of Lousiana products at the time – then I would come back,” Gossen told IntraFish. "I would get back on Monday night. I would sleep in the truck or trailer, then I’d unload it and deliver it.”
