The super frozen tuna market is slowly but surely growing ground in the European market, as importers gradually move away from fresh in the wake of volatile prices, and a desire for higher quality.

“In general terms the super-frozen market is doing well, there is steady progress, and we are happy with what we are seeing,” Martin Brugman, managing director of Culimer, told IntraFish.
